Sunderland Echo Advertisement Ideas

This is on the Sunderland Echo newspaper website on the What's On page
From this newspaper page screenshot I liked the advertisement on the right as it is looks simple, but is a great technique my readers can use to find out things they want to go see in their local area.

From this newspaper page screenshot I liked the advertisement on the right as it is again simple, yet it has compiled everything on a the website in a small little box which is helpful for readers.

From this newspaper page screenshot I liked the advertisement on the right as it is again simple but it is an easier way for readers to view and use the site. I also liked the twitter feed which is used on this page as it links in the twitter page.

From this newspaper page screenshot I liked the advertisement on the right as it is a long box which covers the right hand page with one advertisement whereas on the left hand side it is all stories.

Also this is a repetition from the What's On page which I will try to replicate in my newspaper website.

Time Management

During this lesson I have been redesigning the bottom of my newspaper website. To do this I have been     looking at existing newspaper websites to get a few ideas on what to add, what should be written and how. My research can be seen below:

I then created my own, using ideas from the above websites, which can be seen below:

So to summarise I have found the above websites and found that they all have a block background colour and put links on and other useful information and so for I created my own to use at the bottom of my website as it will help make it look professional and be helpful to my target audience.
